Yes, there are a million places online to find new music, trends, recipes and so on. And maybe this is just my own personal tribute to myself and the stuff I like. But maybe you'll find something on here that makes you think, "That shit's pretty cool." If so, great. If not...well, life will go on.
If you're interested (and if you're reading this I can reasonably assume that you might be) continue to tune in to hear about some shit that I enjoy. That's all this really is. I can only hope that people will have some of the same interests as me. And if my favorite things of the moment are no great revelation to you (oh-great-and-knowledgable internet dweller), I really don't care. Just keep it to yourself and move. No need to tell me, "Well I started listening to that band 3 years ago," or, "That movie came out in the 90s, get over it." Yeah, we get it, you're at a higher level than any of us and you know all the trends before they happen. No one cares.
But if you want to reminisce about an awesome, overlooked film or a band that none of your friends pay attention to, please do. I welcome constructive comments and interesting tidbits. And I especially appreciate pop culture references.
